One of our on-going projects is to design air foils that can be used for wind generation. We design the wings in CAD, then depending on the complexity of the design; we use our CNC hot wire cutter or CNC 3D router. Depending on the application, we construct the wing out of fiberglass, carbon fiber and may also use foam cores.

 

The following is one of our earlier prototypes that we have been working on:

 

 

The 3 pods are made out of fiberglass. Below is a picture of the mold and prototype:

 

 

These are the prototypes and molds that were created in order to produce the molds used above.

 

We are also working on another rotor design that is more traditional than our first design.
